Batten around edge of flat roof?

Hi all,

Help!!

I've gotten my flat roof as far as the top deck - ready for Epdm... But, am I supposed to fix a batten around edge before fixing epdm? Or just do n the gutter edge? Or not at all?

I'm supposed to be fixing epdm down tomorrow...
