BAXI 105E COMBINATION BOLIER

Hi, got a baxi 105e combi boiler and the pressure gauge reads 2bar.

The problem no hot water or heating.

The fan on the flue turns very slightly when boiler turned on then stops, it turns freely by hand.

Any idea of the reason for the fan not running ie fan motor gone or the power to the fan at fault ?

is pump running , is pin coming out of TOP of divertor and activating the microswitch, are you getting 240v at fan terminals.

Check power to fan when a demand called for. You should get 240vac.

If its constant 240 to fan but its not runnin motor is guffed, if voltage drops away then either the board is failing or the pressure switch is dropping out.

Hi all thanks for your feedback re-confirming the symptoms.

No Heating or Hot Water.
Water pressure ok.
Flue fan not running.
No power at the fan.

Will post again very soon with the remedy.

APS isnt stuck though is it...
Odds on as said is the PCB

Thanks for your advice i can confirm your thoughts and it was the pc board gone up the swany !!!
