I have developed a fault with my boiler when requesting HW or CH the boiler will flash 60 ( manual says either low pressure/pump fault) and after a couple of minutes the fault will clear and the boiler will fire up. The boiler pressure is 1bar. When I removed the boiler cover, the first micro switch operates when requesting water and micro switch makes, but plunger at the back is really slow moving and takes minutes to make the micro switch. Should the back plunger move up and down fast when requesting HW or CH?

The back micro switch as you call it is the pump proving switch, there is a small orifice below the diaphragm that needs cleaned
