Baxi Combi 80eco problem

I have a Baxi combi 80eco which has a problem - when I turn the hot water on it starts to heat the central heating at the same time. The only way I can seem to get a good flow of hot water is if I put the central heating on and wait for this to fully heat up. I have checked the Hydraulic Outlet Assembly and both pins seem to be working ok. Can anyone give some idea what the problem may be and how I can solve this.

Unless you are rather good repairing mechanical things, it needs replacing

Thanks for that< I am quite good at repairing things so willing to give it a go if I can find out what I need to repair on the unit! - Any ideas would be of help.

Will also see cost of replacement part and then make a discission

These boilers are quite prone to spindles getting limescale on them, and split diaphragms or leaking o-rings.
I think the overhaul kit is about a score, and the whole valve just under a ton.
Drain boiler, remove diverter, take diverter apart, clean all the bits until the look good as new without scratching anything, and replace all the bits that are in the overhaul kit.
Reassemble, fill and test boiler.

Turn the flow and return isolators to the off position

Many thanks guys, water diverter valve has been overhauled and is now working ok. However now that this issue has been resolved the hot water is not getting hot enough to run a bath without having the water flow running really slow,

Any ideas on how to resolve this!

Gas rate the boiler; it is small and not overly efficient, it could be normal for this model

Thanks will check, boiler has been pretty poor for DHW since it was installed so may have to live with it until I can afford a better unit.
