bay window(tower of piza)

i just bought a house which is in need of modernisation{1st time buyer) . i noticed that the bay window is leaning outward and there are cracks at the joint between the bay and the rest of the house. my quetion is ' how big a problem is this and is it likely to cost a lot of money. will changing the windows to double glade solve the problem? is this a diy job?

Without actually seeing the Bay it is difficult to comment fully but it doesn't sound good . Did your survey uncover any problem with the Bay before you purchased the house ? Maybe you could post a few photo's up for us to give a better reply.
