he basically exposes how people vote against their best interests

its sad to see how people have been conned............even sadder is we have people in this country desperate to be conned by Farage

One of bizarre features of Trumpf is that although rural farmers are suffering from the impact of tariffs, they still support him. That’s partly an emotional response because the alternative is the urban democratic “woke” values. It will probably take a sustained period of economic harm to change their voting intentions and we’re not there yet.

Its woke that is destroying American farms............

Nice video.....shows how lucky we are with the NHS, madness that the richest country doesn't have something similar.

Thatcher started the rot in this country although what has come since makes her tenure seem amazing. Blair did his bit to bring this country down (and still is.) Then 15 years of an absolutely disasterous tory period followed by the clown we now have. Starmer got into power on the back of a lot of broken manifesto promises, much like every government to be honest, but his promises seemed to be an honest assessment of problems this country is facing and after the tory 15 year debacle it was obvious that labour would get in on a landslide. Unfortunately starmer and his bunch of clowns have just opened up the contest to farage, corbyn and the far right, none of whom I would want governing this country. There is also the, at the moment, unknown actions of immigrant groups.

Well the democrats have constantly not voted for Bernie to stand for president despite him being their best hope for a number of years

I agree.

But you need to think about this when you put your weight behind reform. Is the American system what you want ?

Not too far from agreeing with you.

But I don't consider 1 year of Labour enough to change the problems of the last 15 years (really the last 5 years or so especially). Next election time is the time to judge, he has got time to ease off the pedal and garner the support needed at that time.

Bernie Sanders has described Israel’s assault on Gaza as a genocide, renewing his call for ending Washington’s “complicity in the slaughter of the Palestinian people”. Sanders’s statement on Wednesday came a day after a United Nations Commission of Inquiry released an extensive report that concluded that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

“The intent is clear. The conclusion is inescapable: Israel is committing genocide in Gaza,” Sanders said.

On Wednesday, Representative Becca Balint, who – like Sanders – is Jewish and represents the northeastern state of Vermont, also accused Israel of carrying out a genocide in Gaza. “As I write this, babies and young children are starving while the extremist Israeli government continues to withhold aid and commit acts of violence against civilians,” Balint said in an op-ed. “The suffering goes beyond the tragic loss of life inherent to war; at this point, the [Benjamin] Netanyahu government’s actions appear to be a systematic, intentional destruction of the Palestinian people.”
