Hello there,

I am sick and tired of this problem, please help.

Sorry for my bad English.

I installed one of this boiler for heating and hot water 2 years ago, for one relative and it started failing a few days ago.

I'd like to say this is a house for holidays, so that it is usally empty and that might be a cause of the problem.

One year ago, I had to change its electronic board because neither hot water nor heating were working at all.

As saying a few days ago, it started failing again. I changed the electronic board again, but the boiler kept on failing.

I've changed the boiler for a new brand one (same model) it has been working for 3 days, but it has stopped now again, there is one red led blinking, reading the manual this led indicates it might be either "generic lock out" or "lack of circulation (detected by the primary NTC)".

An electrician has checked the electric installation, checking the earth (50 ohmn).

After a few attempts, resetting the boiler, it starts working and it can last hours, but at the end of the day, it stops working again and the same led starts blinking.

I am going to get replace the new bolier for another one (it is on warranty) but my fear is that it happens again, as I am thinking the problem is caused for something external.

Any suggestions??

Thanks a lot!!

Must admit these Biasi codes are confusing ? M90 24 s = a biasi riva plus ? never heard of a CHIP M90 24s , but ther u go , Agile may well pick up on this thread !

I dont think this installer is Gas Registered and so its illegal for him to install any gas apliance!

The M90 is a NON-condensing boiler. Its been illegal for anyone to install one of them in a residence since April 2005.

The description of the fault is confusing so I cannot come to any conclusion whats wrong. Obviously a competent registered engineer is required to diagnose the fault on site.

Best to replace any illegally installed boilers with a current model which meets the current regulations.

Tony
