Good Morning,
Just as the cold arrives my boiler has decided to play the fool, or perhaps it's user error!
Problem Details
- Vaillant Boiler
- Hot water works fine
- Central heating not working
- When thermostat below room temp (currently 11C) system is off - correct
- When turn thermostat up system clicks on (so thermostat working)
- Boiler seems to click in (starts to whirr - I assume this is the fan.) however the flame does not light
System pressure is fine, bled all radiators and refilled so don't think there is an air block anywhere.
Questions
- Any ideas on what could be wrong and is there a DIY possible fix?
- If this diagnosable from this description and is an expert job what should I expect to pay?
