boiler/pilot light keeps firing

Hi I have a Baxi Combi, 18 months old and after about an hour the pilot light keeps coming on and the boiler keeps firing back up every 6 seconds, is there a problem with it and is it doing any harm? Thanks a lot.

Yes the boiler is faulty. Though it probably isn't dangerous, it isn't doing any good! Could be one of a wide range of causes.
