We have an Ideal mini C28 that has been serviced regularly from its installation app 5-6 years ago, it has no external controls, its had a new expansion vessel app 2 year ago and the pressure is always app 1.5 bar?
My ongoing problem is that boiler ignites ok either manually or by program but after a period of time the flame cuts out leaving the fan running, so far we've have had the CH/NTC sensor changed, the fan,venturi,injectors and burner cleaned and just had the overheat thermistor/sensor changed but the problem still persists!
im a sparks so seeing the removed overheat sensor was left on top of the boiler ive tested it with my insulation resistance/low reading ohm meter and the sensor gives a reading of 0.10 ohms?
Anyone got any advise on what i should do next? its driving me nuts with an 18 mth old baby girl and a missus in the house!
