Am looking for a product to give me good bonding to mdf, when placing calendar photos, magazine photos and etc. that the adhesive won't bleed through.........Thanks
It's not clear if this is for a permanent display, or if the items have to be removed (as in a noticeboard).
If you are really in the States, you can order all kinds of adhesives suitable for your needs from the excellent Demco library supply company. Or you could just go down to your local store and get some paste glue or other sticky stuff.
Or perhaps I've misunderstood your needs, and you have something different in mind.
Thanks for responding... am looking for something permanent, spray adhesive tends to be costly.... and doesn't always get the paper or picture bonded, without a few places not sticking.... thanks for any additional information..........and yes I'm in the States.[quote="xerxes";p="1097234"]It's not clear if this is for a permanent display, or if the items have to be removed (as in a noticeboard).

Go and chop the hooves off of one of your steers and boil em up until it goes all gloopy - paint it onto the back of the photos while still warm and you're good to go.
ss - in our experience Display Mount, if correctly applied, never causes the type of 'non-sticking' problems you describe; in addition, the item being 'stuck-down' should always be pressed down with something like a 4" roller. As to cost ... a 400ml can costs us about £6 (bought by the dozen) ... so, whilst there may be a cost imperative it must be balanced against effectiveness and ease of application. The alternatives are brush application (this WILL cause the paper medium to 'pucker' and/or 'bleed' due to soak) or you'll have to print straight onto self-adhesive paper/board.
