Bosch Dishwasher not emptying

Hi - I have a lovely Bosch integrated dishwasher (2 years old). It has worked fine until today. It finished its programme but there is still water in the bottom of the dishwasher. I have tried resetting it, but it still won;t empty.

Any ideas before I shell out for a plumber?

Look into the bottom of the bowl, there's a cover held by a screw (if it's the right model). Remove the cover, remove whatevers jamming the pump (be careful though, it's normally glass). refit the cover and it should work.
If it doesn't have the cover, then it's a nightmare to get to the pump.


Unplug your appliance before working on it.

Hi - thanks for the reply Tiredengineer.

The model is SD13J1B (SRV43M03GB/14).

It does have a screwed in plate above the hole where the waste goes,so will give it a bash.
