Bosch exxcel 1400 washing machine will not spin

Hi i have a Bosch washing machine that the drum has now stopped spinning, i have checked the motor brushes and they seem ok and have power going to them. Any ideas Thanks
 
Have you checked the pump is clear. It won't be the motor if it is functioning normally on other cycle's. Your timer could be faulty also , is it a mechanical type? Has it got a no spin cycle; some have, Just a thought.
 
Mybe he doesn't mean spin as in "spin dry".

Maybe he means that the drum never rotates at all.
 
I thought about that after I posted , but I took it to be "spinning" as opposed to turning in both directions. :oops:
 
Sorry I meant that the drum did not move at all, the pump is spinning fine.
 
If it sounds like the motor is running but the drum not turning then check for a broken drive belt.
 
Hi The Drum motor is not turning only the water pump. the belt is ok
