Hi all
I'm getting the back of my house (1890s terrace) re-rendered in a lime/cement mix, so it is more breathable than cement render

I need to get a breathable paint, but also need to colour match it against adjacent wall

Anyone know of any breathable paints that can colour match? All seem to be 'weathershield' types

Thanks

Search for silicate paints, lime washes or clay paints.

eg

I have been decorating for 30+ years but have never had to paint lime render so I cannot recommend a particular brand. AFAIK the lime content attacks certain pigments, so you choice of colours will be less comprehensive than standard "weathershield" paints.

When you purchase the primers/paints ask the retailer for application advice.
