Hi,

I have a recurring problem with my Britony Combi SE Boiler. I'm not getting any hot water because the pilot light doesn't come on. The boiler is also leaking water, and the pressure gauge is so high it has crept into the red zone. The lack of hot water is only an intermittent problem but it is very annoying. Can anybody here help please?

You seem to have a multitude of problems and to have ignored getting anything fixed.

If you were really lucky it might be just a leaking filling loop so check this first.

It sounds as if your boiler is now badly sludged up and may have a failed or requiring repressurising expansion vessel.

Have you ever had it serviced?

Tony
