My Nan despises Carol Singers, but she has a trick up her sleave which she reckons year on year out reduces the amount of carol singers that come to her door. Her treat for these little s*ds is the buy some brussel sprouts and a bar of cooking chocolate, she melts the chocolate, dips the cooked brussel sprouts into them and then puts then in various sweet wrappers, gives them to the kids as treats and closes the door chuckling to herself, I keep telling her it will make her a target for disgruntled children, but she's to busy laughing!
