You don't feed it up, you drop it down.
1) Try to find out whether or not you have a clear route. There might be insulation in there or even a cavity tray.
2) Drill a hole through the outer leaf where you want your wire to come out.
3) Tie a small weight to the end of a piece of string. Actually, fishing line is best if you can find it. The weight should be heavy enough to pull the line through the hole and be roughly bullet shaped. An old bullet will do nicely!
4) Drill a hole through the inner leaf DIRECTLY BELOW the first one.
5) Push the weight through the outer leaf into the cavity and let gravity take it down. If it catches on an obstruction, jiggle the string about and hope!
6) When the string comes down past the lower hole, fish it out with some kind of hook.
7) Pull plenty of string out through the hole, tie your alarm wire to it and pull the pair of them back up. You may or may not be able to pull your weight back out.
It's a tricky business at the best of times. It can be done but you'll need accurate measurements and quite a lot of luck.

To hook the string drill 25mm bottom hole insert folded tape measure and feed into the cavity , i find 5m metal tape works best. Then drop your string with weight attached from top hole, when it goes past the bottom hole retract the tape and hopefully the string, Good luck 
Or if your tape measure is too shiny, use the plastic strips used to secure parcels together.

Trunking lid aint gonna work.
And you do know you aint meant to run cables in cavities
(In the eye of building regs, the cable could allow damp to track across the wall. In the eyes of NIC, the cables could be damaged during installation).

as mentioned trunking no use on long runs (great over false ceilings) fishing line / thin wire and bent over coat hanger are very good, doestake practice and holes MUST be in vertical alinment. I used to do it a lot, if you dont get it within 3 "pulls" you aint going to because its not there

your in a room with 4 false walls. were u susposed to put the cables?
If we are talking block external walls - chase them. You aint meant to wire in cavities.
Internal stud walls, of course you can.
