Hi there. Ive had a quote for the celing plastering in my hallway and landing. See the pictures.
It used to have polystyrene type tiles on there. But now theyve all gone and ive sanded it so that its flatish give ir take 2 or 3 mill.
The picture of the hallway floor is to give an indication of size.
Hallway being abouts 4'x5' ish?
And landing is around 7' x 5' ish?
He says what he would do is board it up and plaster, he pointed out that the existing is lath n plaster.. Whatever that means.
There are a few holes in the plaster exposing the wooden slats (am i right in thinking THAT is the lath) no bigger then 4".
The landing also curves down towards the exterior wall.
Hes done work for me before, in same house. Does £300 sou d fair for this?
