Woke up this morning and noticed that that the cellas was flooded with about 1ft of water all the way round!. I only had it all renowed about 6 months ago, new wall boards, new DPC and Lino on the floor.
Whats the best way to remove all the water and get it all dry gain. We have our washer/dryer in the cellar and need it often due to having 3 youg children. Is it worth going through the insurance considering its about 100 in excess? Also most of the water seems to have collected opposite the outside drain which is for rain water. Could it be that this has overfilled and all come into the cellar? Again is it worth getting the water board to take a look.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
