Change Headlight Bulb in 02 Polo

How difficult is it to change the headlight bulb in a 2002 VW Polo?
Had a quick look and took the rubber cap of the back of the unit, but things have obviously changed since I last changed a bulb....(twisted and pulled).
Does the bulb unit need to be unscrewed?
