Changing the brushes on a Hotpoint WM61P ..Help!!

Hi, I'm trying to change the brushes on my WM61P washer but I just can't seem to get them out. They are situated on the side of the motor, which doesn't leave a lot of room to work in and I can't see any screws holding them in. There are two small screws on a bracket over a round component at the front of the motor that looked like they may be the culprits but I've removed them and the brushes are still not budging. Do they just slide out or what? Any advice appreciated. See pics:

OK managed to get the brushes out, after a fight. No screws just spring fitted. I'm no expert but the brushes actually look fine however some other opinions would be great.....cheers!

Don't touch the screws , al you need is a flat small screw driver on the other side of the brushes is small bit of plastic push it in and slide brushes out check you tube loads vids on it.
