Check valves outside taps

I usually fit an internal DCV when installing outside taps. I have one to fit that is really tight and there is no room for an internal DCV. Are ones built in to the tap ok?
 
If it’s not practicable to fit internally then I would say it’s ok to for the built in type, better than no backflow prevention.
