Hi
I have a Cimstar 2 port valve which controls hot water on demand either from the cylinder stat or a flow switch. So it should be normally closed unless the switched live is activated then it should go to open whilst there is demand.

First of all it started to stick and a light tap would get it working. Now its packed up all together.

It's now in a permanently closed position and even if I manually shift it to the open position - when i apply power it returns to closed and won't budge

Any ideas?

do you know how many cable cores there are?

Hi Matt
it looks like the relay is sticking - i applied a dc voltage to it and it wouldn't shift - just ordered a new one - 99p - compared to £140 for a new valve and draining down the system - so fingers crossed
