Hi,

I am trying to replace the 'inlet valve' aka uni-valve/quiet ball valve on my Ideal Standard Conceala2 cistern.

I have bought a replacement inlet valve but I am struggling to see how to disconnect the old valve from the end of the hose.

I have added a couple of pictures in my album.

The hose has an integral isolation valve ( the little lever can be rotated to cut off the incoming water. But there is no 'nut' as such to enable me to slide the old valve out.

This is the new valve I have ( it is a push fit tail)

Grateful for any/all wisdom

Thanks

It's a push-fit connection. You need to retract the collar back towards the isolating lever and this will release the valve from the end of the hose.

As above and release the pressure by pushing the ball valve down.
