The Russian/Ukranian group Clop has apparently hacked in to the payroll suppliers software, through a security hole in Windows' server software.

It's thought they're secretly negotiating with those companies in a ransomware attack.

My point is that people might have used it as a password.
But it could be used to get benefits, blue badges, log on to see your tax records and whatnot. It's your I.D. number for that sort of thing. Maybe get a job with it, though that's not the hacker's aim.
