I have a closed loop central heating system , usually pressurized to about 1.5 bar

When I go away next month could I drain the hot and cold water tank and leave the heating ' ON ' with no issues ?

I expect it would cause no problem as it's closed loop ?

It begs the question as to why you would want to drain it down and leave the heating circuits still pressurised. What you propose is ok,but why? It ain't gonna freeze.
