hi all im in need of some help with a radiator ive read through alot of the previous post and think im just getting lost,

the problem is the living room rad has decided not to heat up at all, the rest of the house is fine though, it is a double rad with 2 valves that look the same either end ive tried bleeding it but no air comes out just clear water ive also adjusted the left hand side valve witch if im right is to balance the flow or something i think i read that also this side of the valve has warmish water there the other side is freezing

nothing seems to work, hope this makes sense to anyone as it dont to me anyinfo please

Try opening both valves fully and turning off all the other radiators (at one end only). Could be a blockage which this may help shift enough.

Now then, once it gets a bit warmer, you need to look into getting the sytem cleaned and flushed out (readily available chemicals can be used - this is a DIY job), and at some stage you will probably need to rebalance the system - see the wiki for this.
