Cold Shower

hi all
I have a Thermo mixer shower, the problem is that its cold, i had a look at where it is supplied from- hot is from the cylinder and cold is mains . what should i do. Cold pressure is fine but when i turn thermo to hot it just trickles cold ??? Please help

Unbalanced supply is probably the problem - unless a venturi type shower.

No its not a venturi type just looks like a bog standard thermo mixer.
could i fit a single pump to the hot supply to balance the pressure , or should i take the cold feed from the tank
