Please help... I need to colour our hall way and kitchen quarry tiles. Any advice.

I can not find a suitable light colour paint that can be applied.

Sad that an attractive surface is to be given an almost irreversible change (My opinion). You could try an epoxy floor paint, a masonary paint (will it stand the wear) or a little used easy to maintain limewash. It's compatible with terracotta and can be recoated easily. There are specific limewash pigments available to get the right colour, try Mike Wye Associates or Anglia Lime. (I have no interest in these firms) and they can help with application info.
