Hi guys,

Been lurking for a while, reading all of your helpful tips.

I am looking to concrete slab, tile and underfloor heating my entrance way, removed joists etc and have 28cm (potentially more if I dig out) to hardcore layer.

How would you go about layering dpm, concrete, insulation and underfloor heating?

Any advice would be great

If its wet underfloor heating then dpm - 100mm concrete - 100mm insulation- heating piping- 80mm screed

Why screed if you are going to tile?
You should beable to get a decent level finish if it's only a small area by hand.

PIR
100mm hardcore - ~50mm sand binding - dpm lapped in wall but don't cut - PIR - Slip sheet - heating pipes - 100mm concrete

EPS
100mm hardcore - ~50mm sand binding -EPS here - dpm lapped in wall but don't cut - or EPS here - heating pipes - 100mm concrete
