Ok we have a shed, then a cavity wall, then our bedroom wall.
So, long story short we were getting LOTS of condensation on our bedroom wall when it was cold outside. We all know how condensation works, so we increased air circulation at night, and when the heating is on we now run a dehumidifier which has solved the problem.
However, the corner of the wall (outside corner) still gets wet. It isn't affected by rain outside, it's DEFINITELY condensation and the problem is clearly that the corner is the coldest point and so it creates more condensation. So how can we fix this?
