cpc not connected

Hi Guys,

Just to find out what some of you experts on here think. Where I work, in the staff room one of the light fixtures has the cpc hanging out of the diffuser (it's a 3 tube fixture with a kind of grid across the bottom). What do you guys think? It has obviously been disconnected @ some point but why????

Yeah, more than likeley the fly-lead from the luminaire's chassis to the metal diffuser.

It may very well still be connected, they can be tricky to stop from poking out!
