Hello, I have fitted some coving to my room after plastering. The coving is fixed secure with no movement but where the coving sections join, it looks like a very fine crack has reappeared. What would the best way to stop this coming back be? My thoughts were to rake the crack out slightly using a stanley knife/screwdriver and then use some toupret flex skim (as i have some) which allegedly remains flexible. Would this solve? Thanks.

Rake it out. Squirt low expanding foam in behind the crack and then fill with toupret.

Caulk it.
It's normal to get some movement after fitting coving and related line cracks.

Stops any movement in the future producing a crack...
