i'm fitting a saniflow monday. (toilet only variety)
i was going to do it in 22 mm copper (per m.i.) 6 meter run on the outside.
i take it i would have to unsulate this ?
if i did it in 32 solvent weld would it need insulation ? (sldo per m.i.)
does the flush" clear the pipe everytime ? or does it leave residue that could freeze and cause a frozen blockage?
any thoughts ?
jamie

ps not got the m.i. here at home to check

""""rubbish job was not my original title (does not have the same comical value)

Nightmare Job.and with a hard winter coming.......Insulation is paramount, all exposed wastes and even 4inch cast soils, horizontal, have frozen.....that bad winter between `80-87.... :?: nearly killed me  Can`t remember exactly which year .was working for a housing assn.

The pumps should not need insulation if you use a 32 mm waste with a correct and even fall.

They pump out the effluent in a few seconds and that will be warm and should drain away before freezing.

No harm if its insulated though.

A pumped WC should not be the ONLY one in the property!
