Can anyone say what is the likley problem here.

the hobs and grill work fine, but the big and little ovens do not come on.

is this a big repair. is it worth having a look myself?

or will it be cheaper to buy a second hand oven for £50?

Sounds like it could be a timer problem.
Check the timer is set for MANUAL

Just read your post again.
Is this 2 items ie a hob & oven grill.
If 2 products are they on the same circuit, ie has a fuse gone. Do you get any lights / neon indicators

could be a timer problem. i will look at that.

it is one unit. 4 hobs and then 2 ovens. the grill is in the top oven. all hob lights work, but the 2 oven lights do not come on.
