Croydex H2O Hydro-Powered Mixer Shower won't turn off

Hi I've had the shower installed since October 2004 with no problems until now:

when on turning off, it turns the cold off but leaves the hot running (ouch!)

Only way I've managed to turn it off it to keep turning if on/off.

Any suggestions?

this wont be easily fixed. is it still under guarantee! could have been installer error(unbalanced supplies, didnt flush pipes on commissioning) or duff valve who knows

This shower relies on unbalanced supplies, its a venturi shower. We have one that doesn't always turn on. It was fine for the first two months, its only been installed for three. We suspect it is due to limescale and are going to fit a siliphos device to see if it helps.

Keep us posted if you have any luck with Croydex, as the shower was discontinued some time ago.
