I'm in the process of decorating a master bedroom and bit stuck with colors for curtains and curtain pole. Would appreciate some opinions.

I'm currently thinking a dark burnt orange for the curtains with matching bedside light shades. Idea being it will inject a bit of color into an otherwise neutral color scheme.
Other option being a brownish shade similar to the dark wall and accent with light shades and things.
Oh and curtain poles? Black, Silver, Wood? The Drape rods at Pottery Barn look good too. Wrought Black rods would go with burnt Orange.
