DE7777 - Dewalt Dust Extraction Kit, 100mm Connection unit?

Hi,

Got a De7777 100mm extraction unit for free. Having googled for sometime I can't see anything to plug the 100mm adaptor to? Has anybody got any innovative ideas on what to do with it?

The De7778 comes with a 35mm adaptor so I guess it should be easy to attach that to a cheapo vacuum I've seen in Asda, even if some gaffer tape is required

mtmc.co.uk offer the above adaptor as a standalone product for around 7 quid inc postage. But in these hard times it would be nice to have a (cheaper) solution to go with the 100mm adaptor in my possession.

Have a look for workshop dust extraction units such as this for a machine that uses 100mm hoses.

They also do a 100 to 50mm adaptor there, and before you ask; no I don't work for them!

That is the standard size. All woodwork workshop eqipment has dust extraction nozzles at 100mm, table saws planer/thicknessers etc
