I am thinking of getting rid of my cumbersome monitor and getting a new fangled slim line jobby. Any good ones out there that aren't crazy money?

decent widescreen PC monitor that won't break bank??

The big question is what resolution do you want? and what size do you consider acceptable? Unfortunately it seems very hard to get flatpanels with high pixel density.
You also have to decide between widescreen and 4:3, widesceens are much cheaper for a given pixel count but 4:3 give you more pixel count for a given desk space.
