Its pretty old but still works manually but the clock has stopped working. I did get it going again but I wish to replace it with something more reliable, and more modern looking. Hopefully there's a direct replacement available? I know there was the H27xl model but that's been discontinued too.

Direct replacement for Horstmann Diadem 425.

Apparently there’s a replacement using the same backplate, but needs wiring changes: https://www.securemeters.com/uk/product/discontinued-products/425-diadem/ you could always change the backplate and wiring and fit whatever you want.
As above from memory that programmer is on a common backplate.

Not sure it’s a common backplate mate, as it states a 9 pin terminal backplate.
