Dishwasher waste nozzle help

I don't think it's as bad as you think Newboy; if you look carefully at the first picture, the rear waste outlet from the sink is quite lower than the washing machine outlet. But you've made a good point for people to keep in mind. I've just taken out a sink where the previous owners had raised the outlet as it went towards the wall, and the new owners now know why their washing machine stank all the time.

I'm not suggesting that the world is going to end - just that it's a poor installation (and the dishwasher nozzle is just the most obvious and easy to rectify)

Sorted

People may not agree with this resolution but here it is.

Made a hole just big enough for the end of the pipe in the end cap.

Fitted pipe in nice and tight fit.

And finally screwed in using the cap which holds the end cap in nice and tight with the pipe. The block is to hold the pipework up as it keeps falling.

What's the issue, it works fine, the pipe work is from italy, i've tried all merchants who don't have the nozzle and i'm not going to change the pipework for one nozzle at this stage.

But as a temporary solution until i change the whole thing out this works fine and the pipe is secure with no leaks.

The polite description is 'a bodge'

You asked for advice, were given advice and ignored the advice - if you think that the solution is a ragged hole cut into a stopper and the pipework supported on a block of wood then it was a bit pointless asking for help in the first place.
