Hi there

I am a complete novice DIYer but was after some advice on my double glazing in my new flat. The white mateirial that goes in the cracks on my windows is old and is coming away. Is there anything that I can by to replace it or do I have to get a pro in.

Regards

George

Any chance of a photo? Are you talking about the window beading?

When I say grouting, it is the adhesive between the joints of the window and frame

I am not a professional but it sounds to me you could just buy one of those tubes of Allpurpose waterproof flexible sealant from your DIY store. And you would need a 'gun' to go with it as well. With my back windows I simply squeezed a generous strip of the stuff on top of the old stuff. It is a bit like icing a cake, with a bit of practise you will be able to control the flow from your tube

So it is not the stuff between the window frame and the wall?
