We have the above timer to control underfloor heating downstairs and rads upstairs (2 zones) timed to come on at different times in the morning. For some reason the upstairs rads are coming on with the underfloor heating (set to come on an hour later). They turn off during the day so it's not the manifold. Any ideas please?

If it's aways been like this, and not something that has suddenly appeared, the first check is to see if the link on the back of the unit has been set properly. It has two positions P and G. Yours should be set to P

The G setting does not allow the independent setting of one channel being on (Marked Heating) without the other channel (Marked Hot Water) also coming on.

I've done a factory reset and set up the timings. I can confirm that on the first timing of the day the hw comes on with ch even though its set later. All the other timings work correctly.

are you sure it is not set to gravity ? post a pic of the rear of it so we can see

Hopefully sorted by a work around as we don't use the middle setting. So have set it to come on and switch off a minute later. Then set the middle timings to come on at different times as we needed. It seems to work on a test schedule anyway . Still don't understand why the first setting activates everything though.

Isn't the top slot also needed, for linked or independent? It doesn't look like it has a link in it at all.
