Drayton valve not working

There is a permanent 'live' to a micro switch (grey wire). When triggered it allows power from the micro switch to power boiler (orange wire).

Power also comes from the cylinder stat (when calling for water) to the valves motor (brown wire) with neutral wire (blue) to complete the circuit.

Motor drives valve to open position and triggers micro switch.
If it does not function you need to verify the following till problem located.
Is there a permanent live to M/S
Is the M/S being triggered
Does brown wire become live when HW called for.
Is neutral wire connected
Does valve move. If not check motor.
It should be easy to find what operation is not happening and determine the cause.

A electrical test could be carried out on the workshop bench to test its operation before installation (using above information).
