Hi, This weekend ive replaced my downstairs ceilings with plasterboard.I'm going to tape and join them but what order is it?

Tape - joint filler - sand it - joint filler - sand it - joint cement - sand then paint?

someone did tell me a while ago but i forgot!!!

Cheers

Marty, what I do is tape all joints, apply filler to all screwheads and tapered joints. You should then only need to rub it down lightly to remove any rough spots. Then go over the tapered joints with a very wide spread, about 1/2 - 3/4 trowel width either side of the joint to make sure it blends in nicely. Refill the screw heads as well if there are any holes. If you have been doing it for years, that should do it! If not (like me) sand down any high spots and fill accordingly. I tend to use a filler that does everything, sorry, can't remember which one I used since it was that long ago!
