dull enamel on ci bath

Hi, I have two cast iron enamelled baths,they are sound but the enamel at the bottom is dull and slightly rough. Can they
be repolished by a DIYer

I don't think so. Have you try'd T Cut or Brasso?

if re polishing fails you can get them re enamelled for a reasonably good price and without having to remove the bath,looks good too

Thanks have had this done in the past and it was ok,but trying to save the cost as it is only the bottom affected

Pretty much certain they can, bit of coarse polish, fine polish followed by a final buff. Should do the trick, Nice n shiny..
