Easiboost Shower Pump

Good evening, I am replacing one of these pumps and the new one only works when I hold it upside down!!!

I have not put the water connectors on yet as I am wondering if the pump has a fault or if they only work when water is flowing through?

Any advise is appreciated as I am clearly not working within my normal field!

You shouldn't run a shower pump dry :shock: It can damage them. :?

It should only work with water running through which is what operates the flow switch inside.
