currently moving into rented accomadation, ive got an electric cooker but there is already a gas cooker in the house, was wondering can i just put the electric 1 in n plug it into a normal socket or does it require more work thatn that.

any help is much appreciated!

thanks

if it is an electric cooker with rings, you cannot plug it in.

you can plug in a single oven with no rings. not a cooker.

if the accomodation includes an electric cooker circuit, you can use that. But it needs a large "fuse" large cable, large switch, large wall outlet all purpose made for such a heavy load.
