I AM HAVING AN EXTENSION BUILT AND HAVE DECIDED TO REWIRE THE HOUSE AT THE SAME TIME USING A 12 WAY SPLIT LOAD CONSUMER UNIT WITH MCB'S
THE CIRCUITS ARE AS FOLLOWS :-
1 SHOWER CIRCUIT--------45 AMPS
1 COOKER CIRCUIT--------40 AMPS
3 RING MAIN CIRCUITS----32 AMPS EACH
2 LIGHTING CIRCUITS------6 AMPS EACH
1 SMOKE ALARM CIRCUIT--6 AMPS
1 SHED CIRCUIT------------16 AMPS

AT PRESENT I HAVE A 100 AMP MAIN FUSE-CAN A DOMESTIC SUPPLY HAVE A HIGHER MAIN FUSE?
WHAT CIRCUITS WOULD YOU PUT THROUGH THE RCD-SHOWER,RING MAINS AND SHED CIRCUIT MAYBE ?
EVEN ALLOWING FOR DIVERSITY IT DOES LOOK HIGH-ANYBODY HAVE ANY THOUGHTS?
THANKS

The size of your main fuse also depends on the size of the incoming cable. I would say what you have listed is ok since not everything will be on at the same time (diversity as you so correctly put it)

THANKS FOR ANSWERING BREEZER YOU SEEM TO KNOW YOUR STUFF
WHAT CIRCUITS WOULD YOU PUT THROUGH THE RCD I BELIEVE FRIDGE/FREEZERS AMONG OTHER THINGS CAN TRIP THE RCD

They have been known to, but ALL sockets must be protected by an RCD,
