Hi All,

I have a Hot Water cylinder that is heated electrically.
I’ve noticed that during heating times, it continues to sound like a boiling kettle even though the temp on the thermostat is set at around the 75 degrees temperature. I would expect this to then cut out once it has reached this temperature.
I’ve unscrewed the cover plate to look at the thermostat and there are 2 - A Sunvic 2301 and a sunvic 2352 and I’m wondering if I should replace both of these.
The 2352 has a reset button on it but it doesn’t really feel like it has done anything if you try and push it.

Looking for replacements, I’m not sure if I should go with the same ones again although it doesn’t appear that the 2301 is now obsolete and has been replaced with a 2351. Are these generally good brands or are there better ones? And I assume I could do a straight swap from the 2301 to the 2351 and then also buy a new 2352 to connect them both together and mirror the existing set up?

Thanks

I will thanks. However I didn’t set it but it is not cutting out as I can hear it boiling so I’m looking to replace these thermostats anyway.

I will replace them both but just wanted to check that the ones I have listed will work together or if there is a better brand to buy?
